Bryony's bargain: £5 peplum skirt...

This is good for me three posts in a row. I mentioned I wanted to start doing a weekly 'Bryony's bargain' post as I'm all about high street, but particularly bargains as I just simply don't have the money to buy really expensive things (this means I even have to avoid Topshop).

So as you can see from my blog post's title the bargain this week is this cute white peplum skirt from H&M and I just couldnt believe it was £5 such a bargain! They also do it in black too and I was so nearly tempted to buy that as well. I also spotted (in H&M of course) this beautiful floral printed top and the colour was so pretty so I had to make it mine and that was only £10. The top is actually a peplum top too though but it looked a tad weird outside the skirt so I tucked it in and my shoes and bag are both from Primark, the bag £6 and shoes £12. It's really starting to anger me now, but I can't find the skirt or top on the H&M site (as I can't with all the H&M items I buy), but I literally bought these items two days ago so they are defiantly still in the shop.

Have a lovely week guys!

the elegant crop top...

Wow we are really having some lush weather at the minute! (touch wood).

Due to my uncertainty about crop tops I thought the only way I'm going to find out whether I really like them is if I buy another one, so I bought this one from New Look at £12.99. I think this one is more pretty and elegant than the one in my last post probably because of its floral pastel patter, so I decided to put a more dressy up outfit together.
I always think florals go lush with real pure colours to make their pattern stand out more, hence the popular choice of white in my outfit (and white is so great for Summer is it not?). I paired it with my amazing £12 trousers from Primark, my £5 heels from Justfor5Pounds, my sheer white kimono from H&M at £10 and not forgetting hands down the most amazing earrings also from New Look (I want to say £5.99 & £6.99 I cant 100% remember).

I'm beginning to like crop tops a lot more now and I think this outfit can be classed as a going out outfit as to me its elegant and there isn't way too much flesh showing and it could also be a day time one if you changed a few items around like the shoes and earrings. What do you think of this outfit?

my little darling...

Guess who's back, back again SYF tell a friend... by the way guys I'm not calling myself' 'a little darling' I Google translated the French from my top.

So if you saw my last post you will know my exams are OVER (whoop!) so that means a load more blogging is coming your way. I'm quite excited because I'm really enjoying putting together some lovely bargain outfits for you readers so I do hope you'll like them. I actually got to go proper shopping the other day which I was so buzzed about because I hadn't gone in so long because of exams (by the way 'proper shopping' is when you actually go and spend a good 5 hours round the shops not 5 minutes). I had a very successful shop and found so many beautiful bargains so I cant wait to share them.

This outfit has a few of the items I found while on my adventures round Bristol. You need to understand I'm usually very against crop tops and I think it's because unfortunately I see so many girls wearing them in a slutty unattractive way when they go uptown so this has also led to my boyfriend hating them too. However, I'm on the mission to change his opinion of crop tops (and my own) as I believe they can be worn in a attractive more classy way. I think my new rule for crop tops in public is to keep track of how much flesh you have on show (we can save being more naked for the beach). So I found these lovely wide leg trousers from Primark at £12 and the crop top and cardi were from H&M, the top was £4 and the cardi £7. I thought yes the cardi gives a little more coverage so I liked that and even if I took it off my legs are still covered and the trousers are so breezy so you get loads of air whisking up them. Overall I think I created quite a nice chick look and the lovely pastel blue bag was also a Primark bargain...£6! I did have to stop myself buying the other colours as there were so many and my little sunnies are from my Access to Asos goodie box. I don't know why but the crop top isn't on the H&M site and neither is the cardi so I'll post a 'get the look' links with similar items, however all items are in store guys as I only got them the other day.

I'm very sorry for this being a long post guys, but I thought I'd get the updating you on how things are at the minute out the way. Let me know what you think of the outfit and whether I'm being too stingy with my 'in public crop top rule' as we're all different and comfortable in different things and I'm sorry for my random giant yeti feet sticking out from under my trousers.

A2 exams are over! Whoop whoop! FREEDOM!

This isn't a major exciting outfit as you can see it was what I was just chilling in today, but I thought I just had to do a post sharing that exams are now finally at a close which means from now on there will be plenty more blogging. I'm 100% looking forward to the Summer as I'm off on two lovely holidays which I cannot wait for and I'm not off to uni I'll be taking my gap year and I have some work experience planned (stay tuned).

Oh my gosh another thing I need to share is that I'm going proper shopping tomorrow (eek!) and I haven't been in aaaages I've missed it so much, I actually get to go to a decent sized Primark whoop! So hopefully I'll find some lovely bits for the blog. Well done to all the exam students out there we all deserve a good break and time to enjoy the sun - I know I defiantly will be.

it's all about the shoes..£5 shoes...

Evening all! As you can see at the side of my blog I have a badge saying I'm part of the 'Justfor5pounds blogging network' (which I'm very proud to have) and last week the lovely Steph sent me these beautiful heels to blog which was a great excuse to dress up - thank you Steph!

These shoes are rather classy with the whole monochrome scheme going on (well I think they are) so I thought lets keep the class, simple black dress, bag and chandelier earrings. I do really agree that sometimes less is more.

I will admit at one point my dad was shouting at me saying 'you cant walk in those' and I was like 'um yes I can' then almost broke my ankle haha bad times! However apart from that little situo the shoes are amazing quality and I love them so much.  If you haven't checked out Justfor5pounds as I keep saying 100% recommend it, even if you have to have a little rummage through the site like when you're in Primark I bet you will find a bargain.

Only 2 more exams guys then I will be able to blog waaay more so please please stay with me! Have a great weekend.

My post title is meant to justify why I have a turtle neck on during the start of Summer and it was raining today too so I hope it has! This outfit is a lot more chilled than my last one, but I simply wanted to look for an outfit to put together and I thought that this could be the kind of one to wear during those Summer days when it's not hot or during the evenings for that extra bit of warmth.

I'm a big fan of turtlenecks they're such a classic piece of clothing that will never grow out of fashion as they've been around for years. I had my English exam today (kill me) was not loving it at all, but only two more now so wish me luck and good luck to everyone else currently taking exams - we can do it!
