Evening all!

So if you follow me on Instagram you would have seen that I went along to the MGS AW15 press day last Wednesday. This was my first time attending a press day so I thought it would be quite nice to share :)

MGS PR also look after a range of other brands, which were also at the event including: Movado, Lacoste, Hugo Boss, Coach, Juicy Couture, Ferrari, Ebel and Tommy Hilfiger, so I was surrounded for the day by stunning watches which were also at surprisingly cheap prices.

Here are some of the pictures I took on Wednesday and my favourite go to watches, encase your after a new stylish piece of wrist candy but at an affordable price, something MGS PR are ideal for.

A little drink to start the day off (I began to discover 2 o'clock was way too early for gin).

The fabulous Coach collection!
The far left is £195 then next to is £195 then the pearls are £175 (my favourite)

Sparkling sugar from Juicy Couture
Top watch is £230 then directly under to the left is £325 then to the right £230

Juicy Couture is the perfect brand for those girls who like a little more glamour on their wrists.
The left watch is £150 and the right is £95

Ferarri for the men who love a fierce sporty look.
The blue watch directly above is only £115!

Lacoste offers classic luxe pieces for the modern man
This watch is £125

A Movado watch made completely from ice!

This Coach watch was in my goody bag at the end of the event and I got my initials engraved into it!

A big thank you to Venieta for inviting me along to the press day! x

Heyyy! I'm writing this post in a real hurry as I have a BBQ to attend in about 40 minutes, my room is a state and I still need to get ready - madness!

I know everyone is constantly raving about the 'little black dress', but when it comes to Summer I think going a shade lighter and stepping over to the white side is defiantly a must, especially as white is a lot more summery AND it goes with pretty much everything too - boom white has been justified.

This dress is also extra special as it's a bargain buy for only £5! Cheaper than what I even paid for it (just sucks when that happens) so it's a defiante buy for your wardrobe.I thought I'd put a day outfit and an evening one using the dress so let me know which is your fave.

Now I must dash to go eat some burgers.

I love finding high-street products with designer vibes and when I saw this £7.99 skirt in H&M I was instantly thinking 'hey Dolce & Gabbana' (primarily because they love florals).

It's so great when the high-street creates products so close to the catwalk as it means those who don't have thousands of pounds (me) can still feel confident in the clothes we're wearing.

To try and 'complete' this high-street D&G look I added my favourite white tassel earrings, also H&M as Dolce & Gabbana have showcased the most fabulous tassel earrings before, and a bright yellow off the shoulder top as they always have a bright pop of colour.

I think this skirt is a must have buy for those of us for can't get the £425 version.

I've literally just returned from my amazing holiday in Tenerife and holiday blues depression began at the airport so imagine how I'm feeling now...

I stayed in El Medano, which is basically a popular surfer destination, so if your a sick surfer but don't exactly have the money to catch some Australian waves you should defiantly consider El Medano as the wind is insanely crazy, we're talking 30mph wind. Mine and my bf's hotel Arenas Del Mar was located literally right next to the sea. The hotel itself was really nice, however I note, do not be put off by the outside of the hotel as it looks like a carpark, but inside is really lovely and doing all inclusive there is seriously dangerous as I ate like a whale. El Medano itself was smaller and quieter than I expected, but has a really good (and cheap) bus service so you can get to loads of different places and the hotel would offer buses to tourist destinations too.

So here are a few fashion tricks and tips that I picked up while staying in El Medano  for anyone looking to go there too...

1. Hats (unless a very tight cap) are a no-go. Unfortunately a hat is not compatable with El Medano's wind and here's an example, my lovely straw fedora hat from River Island blew off my head and into the sea (Pete just had to capture this moment - idiot).

2. If your looking for a party destination El Medano is not for you. There was 0 clubs. If your after that kind of holiday your better off going to somewhere like Las Americas which is the kind of hub of Tenerife. However saying that, El Medano does have a great bus service to Las Americas. Here is a picture from the Insomnia boat party me and my bf attended in Las Americas (a HUGELY recommend).

3. Casual > dressy. It would just be mean if I didn't tell you, so do not waste your time getting really dressed up in El Medano. After the first few days attempting to look 'decent' I came to realise the wind will destroy your outfit and hair, the sand will attack your makeup, so there's really no point in trying to look nice unless your in the hotel. Casual comfy basics like a cami dress however and shorts are perfect.

4. No7 tinted moistrusier is a must-have. For the first time ever I wore zilch foundation while I was away and only No7's tinted moisturiser as a base for my face. I'd defiantly ditch foundation in El Medano as sand will blow on your face, so imagine how much would stick if you had foundation on (and the sand is black). It sinks into the skin perfectly, is super light and kept my skin hydrated too and you can build it up and still have a weightless feel. I'd recommend going a shade darker than your natural shade for a perfect holiday glow.

I think Summer trends (not that I follow them like a religion) are my favourite out of the seasons. Everything is always light, elegant and chic.

A particular favourite summer material of mine that always comes back into trend every single time is crochet. I think in comparison to lace, crochet is a little more laid back  while still creating an effortless chic look at the same time.

I've gone for small elements of crochet in this particular summery outfit (thank God it's finally here! Bloody hope so anyway - touch wood). I'm in love with these high wasted shorts from Primark.  High-wasted are my favourite style and with the crochet detailing at the bottom just adds that extra feminine touch. My top from New Look also has the most beautiful crochet pattern at the bottom of it making it a bit different from your standard cut-out shoulder top which is nice I think.

Do you have a favourite summer trend?
